Retainer & Payment
  • I require a 50%  retainer on all orders and it must be cleared before any work is started.

  • The remaining balance is due one month before the event date, I am happy to accept payments on the remaining balance. However, all money must be received one month prior to the event date or your order will cancelled and not be completed.

  • If your cake is ordered less than one month before the event date, the total amount is due immediately and your order will not be placed until payment is received, retainer is included in the full payment.

I will always do my utmost to accommodate all orders; however, in order to provide you with the best service possible, I require sufficient time to design and process your commission.

  •  The following lead-times are therefore recommended:

    • For Standard Event Cakes and Event Cakes 1 month

    • Wedding Cakes 3 to 6 months.

  • Bookings are taken on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • For Weddings and Events during the peak-season I recommend placing your order as early as possible, alternatively you can reserve your date with a $50 holding retainer and decide on your design at a later date.

Although every possible care will be taken with the delivery and set up of the cakes, once delivered the cake becomes the responsibility of clients and I cannot be held responsible for any destruction of the cake or products once they are in the care of clients.

In the event of cancellation:
  • Cakes cancelled prior to the 30 day lockout date can be refunded up to 50% of the final payment paid.

  • The 50% retainer will not be refunded.

  • Cakes cancelled after the 30 day lockout date will not be refunded.

  •  In the event that something occurs to affect your scheduled event date – please contact us immediately to discuss options. Communication is key, if you are up-front about any issues about your date we will work hard to accommodate you. We understand things can come up that are out of your control.

At my discretion, I will do all that I can to accommodate any changes you wish to make to your order and charge you for any additional costs incurred. Changes to your cake order: size, description, flavors, etc. will only be accepted until 30 days prior to the event date. After that lockout date I cannot accept any changes. Please note that any changes to your order must be confirmed in writing or by email.

Food Allergies

Unfortunately at this time our kitchen is not designed to provide Gluten free baked goods at this time.

Please note that FROST IT FANCY will not be held responsible for any nut allergies.

  • All cakes could contain traces of nuts due to factory processing of certain ingredients purchased.

  • It is the responsibility of clients to inform their guests that traces of nuts could be present in the cake even though I take all preventative measures.
